Tea after Sunday service is a cherished tradition at Good Shepherd-Protea

Good Shepherd-Protea is an Anglican church within the Parish of St Saviour’s, Claremont, Cape Town. We are a vibrant worshipping community of about 90 communicants on a Sunday, consisting of former residents of Protea Village, as well as people living in the surrounding area of Kirstenbosch, Fernwood and Bishopscourt – and further afield. Our community ranges in age from a few months old to well into the eighties.

In school term time, Children’s Church (from pre-school to Grade 7) is held during the 09.00 service.

We pray that you will find at Good Shepherd love and fellowship and an ever deeper love and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

For our address and contact details, please see the ‘About Us’ and ‘Contact Us’ sections on the website.

At Good Shepherd we are:
Committed to restoring and nourishing faith in Jesus Christ.

Good Shepherd is an extended family where everyone has the chance to know others and be known. Here you’ll know you are needed, and there are many opportunities to serve. From the youngest to the oldest members, you will find a warm welcome.
